TXA, Guangzhou TX-Aviation Technology Co., Ltd., was founded in 2012 and develops and manufactures plant protection drones for agriculture and forestry. Its hardware range includes the TXA-616, TXA-610 and TXA R-16 "Rui" spraying aircraft, alongside the Skycam1200 miniature mapping UAV. The company also provides plant protection services and operator training.
The TXA-616 was developed in 2015 with a 16-liter pesticide capacity. Introduced in July 2016, the TXA-610 is a folding quadrotor with a 10 kg pesticide payload, designed for small and medium-sized plant protection service organizations and compact transport. Launched in December 2017, the TXA R-16 "Rui" is a 16 kg-class hexarotor featuring a modular design with a removable pesticide tank and removable smart battery.
