For aviation, its offerings include high-specific-energy pouch lithium-ion batteries and products with specific energies of 320 Wh/kg and 340 Wh/kg, developed to meet the requirements of high-end consumer UAVs.
On March 2, 2024, an aircraft equipped with Lishen high-specific-energy pouch lithium-ion batteries completed a 250.3 km flight on a single charge. The flight was reported as setting a global range record for a two-tonne-class eVTOL aircraft. This application illustrates the company's role as a battery supplier for electric aviation, alongside its broader range of cells and packs for civilian drones and other electrical equipment.
