Shenzhen Smart Drone UAV.Co.,Ltd. was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Shenzhen, China. It develops and manufactures industrial drones and passenger-carrying electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, or eVTOLs. Its industrial lineup includes the V500H, V380 and V330PLUS vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing aircraft, alongside the Q280 and Lingyun IIS multirotors. Civilian applications across this range include logistics, emergency rescue, inspection, environmental protection, public safety and forest protection.
The Q280 is a six-rotor transport aircraft with a payload of up to 100 kg and an alloy and carbon-fiber structure. It is designed for work involving substantial elevation differences, including vertical lifting and port transportation. The passenger aircraft range includes a disc-shaped eVTOL and the Bullet ultralight eVTOL, intended for low-altitude tourism and recreational flight experiences. Both passenger aircraft have received special flight permits from the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
