Shenzhen Meituan Low Altitude Logistics Technology Co. Ltd. is based in Guangdong, China, and develops drone systems for urban delivery. Meituan began exploring drone delivery in 2017 to improve local instant delivery through a network coordinating air and ground transport. It has initially completed development of autonomous aircraft, intelligent scheduling systems and delivery operations for use across multiple settings and weather conditions. Its aircraft range includes M-Drone 4L, the long-range version of its fourth-generation drone, and M-Drone 4. Other offerings include the M-Port 3 intelligent docking station and M-DaaS 3 drone cloud hub.
Meituan completed its first drone delivery order for real users in Shenzhen in early 2021. By the end of 2025, Meituan Drone had opened 70 routes in cities including Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Dubai, and completed more than 780,000 orders. Its instant retail delivery service covers offices, residential communities, scenic areas, municipal parks, campuses and libraries. Partnerships with more than 1,000 brand merchants, including KFC, McDonald's, Subway and Chagee, offer more than 160,000 product choices. For medical logistics, Meituan Drone can build end-to-end rapid delivery networks operating throughout the day for blood, test samples, pre-hospital emergency supplies and special medicines.
