Shenzhen Chuangdong Technology develops, produces, sells and services drones for solar and wind power operations and maintenance, alongside photovoltaic cleaning robots. Founded by Deng Guoshun in 2010, the company is headquartered in Shenzhen and has offices elsewhere in China. Its hardware business focuses on equipment for maintaining renewable energy installations.
The company's independently developed inspection drones use artificial intelligence and deep neural network algorithms for work at different types of solar and wind power stations. Its G series combines infrared and visible-light cameras with RTK positioning and waypoint flight. The series supports automatic inspection route planning, takeoff, cruising and return, with computer vision used to identify faults in photovoltaic modules.
The F series addresses wind turbine inspection. It carries a Sony camera and a Sony full-frame fixed-focus telephoto lens, and offers flight modes along turbine blades, vertically and around the turbine for inspection from a distance. The company's wind power diagnostic system identifies defects including debonding, cracks and dirt, supported by a cloud management system.
