Jiangxi Helicopter Co., Ltd. is a state-owned enterprise established in June 2012 under the leadership of the Jiangxi Provincial Government and Jingdezhen Municipal Government. Based in the aviation industry cluster of Jingdezhen's High-tech Zone, Jiangxi Province, it combines helicopter development, production, support and service with general aviation operations, airport operations and aviation education. Its site covers approximately 490,000 square metres, and its facilities include multiple research laboratories and two company-owned general aviation airports.

The company's aircraft range includes large unmanned helicopters and light manned helicopters, with series named JH-1 Little Azure Dragon, JH-2 Little Vermilion Bird, JH-5 Little White Tiger and JH-6 Little Sparrow. The Little Vermilion Bird light sport helicopter is intended for sport pilot licence training and personal recreational flying. It received type certificate TC0060A-HD, becoming China's first light sport helicopter certified in that category. The JH-2A trainer version received a production certificate from the Civil Aviation Administration of China's East China regional administration on June 6, 2022.

The JH-5 Little White Tiger was developed by converting a manned helicopter for unmanned operation. Its intended civilian roles include urban air mobility with passengers aboard an aircraft operating without a pilot, alongside emergency rescue applications. The company's broader aviation activities include operational support for resident companies at its Fuliang A1-class general aviation airport and helicopter science education for young people through the Jiangxi Helicopter Science and Technology Museum.
