Company overview
Jiangsu Zhongqixin Aerospace Technology Group Co., Ltd. is a Jiangsu-based aviation company focused on industrial unmanned aircraft, electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, and flying cars. Its research, production and application activities include collaborations with the Tsinghua University Suzhou Automotive Research Institute, Northwestern Polytechnical University and Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The company has a 1,500 m² research and development center, a 3,000 m² production base and a 134-mu eVTOL final assembly base. Its technical work spans intelligent control, power systems and vertical take-off and landing technologies, with 34 core patents.
The company’s KW60T unmanned aircraft system is designed for port cargo transport, moving goods between shore and vessels without requiring vessels to berth for those transfers. This application addresses berthing costs, prolonged port stays and berth congestion. The all-electric aircraft uses six rotor arms and six propellers, with a 1.5 m³ cargo bay. Its body measures 3.2 m long, 1.1 m wide and 2.3 m high, while its maximum propeller span is 7.8 m. Specifications include a maximum take-off weight of 740 kg, a payload of 160 kg and an operational radius of 50 km. Wind resistance up to Beaufort force 7 and multiple safety redundancies support its intended vessel-deck take-off and landing operations.
