Its work covers the development and manufacture of 30–1400 cc drone propulsion systems, heavy-lift drones in the 50–1400 kg class and range-extender platforms, including fuel-powered UAV engines and complete aircraft. The company also provides drone pilot training and technical services. It reports completing tests of multiple engines from 30 cc to 700 cc, while its 910–1400 cc platforms remain under development.

The company's QJ60 is a metal product described as having a simple structural design without a complex water-cooling system or electronic fuel-injection wiring. Qingdong Qianji also claims a high power-to-weight ratio for this model. Alongside its engine and aircraft development, the company identifies hybrid drone power and extended endurance as areas for future exploration through collaboration with Yitong Group's research resources in new energy and intelligent technologies.

The company has committed RMB 200 million to the Jiangmen Talent Island Full-Space Unmanned System Support Project, formally submitted as a major investment project. Planned for construction during 2025–2027, the 45-mu base will combine intelligent manufacturing, research and testing, pilot training, flight command and air-route support. Once completed, it is intended to serve as the company's manufacturing and operations centre, while providing regional industries with low-altitude infrastructure and a public testing platform supported by integrated hardware and software.
