Company overview
Global Sensor Technology (GST), registered as Wuhan Global Sensor Technology Co., Ltd, supplies infrared detectors and thermal imaging core modules for customers and integrators building UAV infrared payloads. Founded in 2013 and based in Wuhan, its broader range includes uncooled and cooled infrared focal plane detectors, core modules and application solutions for industrial temperature measurement, security monitoring, gas leak detection, outdoor night vision and intelligent driving.
Its iTL miniature infrared core range serves UAV and wearable applications. The iTL612/R uses a 640×512 vanadium oxide detector with 12 μm pixel pitch, an 8–14 μm spectral response and typical NETD of ≤40 mK. With a 9.1 mm lens, it measures 21×22.3×27.3 mm and weighs 20.8 g ±1.5 g; typical power consumption is 0.7 W. Applications include power infrastructure and photovoltaic inspection, environmental monitoring, research aerial imaging, disaster rescue and forest fire prevention. Temperature measurement operates at ambient temperatures from −10°C to +50°C, with measurement ranges of −20°C to 150°C and 0°C to 550°C. Accuracy is ±2°C or ±2%, whichever is greater, at an ambient temperature of 23°C ±3°C.
