Company overview
Gemtorch Networks Co., Ltd. is a Xi’an-based developer of broadband wireless communication hardware, software and customized systems for high-speed mobile environments. Founded in 2009, the company draws on a technical team formed in 2005 whose work includes software-defined radio platforms, mobile broadband networking and high-data-rate communication for moving platforms. Its product range includes air-to-ground bidirectional broadband network transceivers, broadband wireless bridges, aviation wireless local-area network systems and RFID application systems. Civilian applications span aviation telemetry and control, UAV video transmission, and dedicated video and data networks for electricity, petroleum and firefighting operations.
The RainbowTM FHD Video link series provides bidirectional full-HD video and/or data transmission using point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connections, with a stated transmission range of 5–300 km. The SkyviewTM UAV network system series connects UAVs, ground base stations and a control center through a scalable wireless network. It supports beyond-line-of-sight and low-altitude flight under real-time remote control, while delivering live video and flight data to the control center. Intended civilian applications include highway inspection, oil and gas infrastructure inspection, power-line inspection, public-safety inspection and forest-fire inspection.
