Dongguan Snail Aviation Industry Co., LTD is an aircraft and UAV developer and manufacturer based in Dongguan, China. Its predecessor, Haoxiang Model Technology, was founded in 1996 and focused on radio-controlled model aircraft, radio-controlled boats and small multirotor UAVs. In 2021, the business expanded from model-aircraft design and production into UAV development, manufacturing and sales. Its hardware range includes electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing composite-wing UAV platforms and catapult-launched, high-payload turbojet missiles.
The company’s development and manufacturing equipment includes CNC parts machining and large five-axis mold machining systems, a composites autoclave, carbon-fiber molding presses and tube-winding equipment, blade dynamic-balancing equipment and vibration-knife cutting machinery. Its technical work covers aerodynamic design, composite materials and aircraft development.
