Company overview
CSPAT (Chinese-science Smart Power Aviation Technology of Chengdu) develops fuel-electric hybrid power systems, multirotor UAVs and supporting vehicles for drone transport, launch and recovery. Jointly established by the Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Smart Power Aviation Technology of Changsha Company, it works on lightweight fuel engines, high-power generators, power matching and intelligent hybrid energy control.
Its hardware range includes hybrid power units with one-touch starting and the Smart Eagle-15 and Smart Eagle-30 multirotor UAVs, described with endurance of at least two hours. Its supporting drone vehicle incorporates a 700 mm lifting platform, deployment within 90 seconds, automatic compartment-door operation, one-touch drone recovery and onboard refueling. Documented applications include power-line and pipeline inspection, scientific surveys, disaster response, search for survivors, forest fire prevention, aerial mapping, crop protection and delivery logistics.
