Changchun Changguang Boxiang UAV Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures intelligent unmanned aircraft in Changchun, Jilin, China. The company grew out of the UAV Business Department of the Precision Instrument and Equipment R&D Center at the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its hardware range includes vector coaxial multirotor UAVs, vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing aircraft, and dual-all-wing VTOL UAVs.
Changguang Boxiang provides customized UAV solutions and associated peripherals, with its aircraft series used in civilian as well as military fields. Its development work addresses flight in cold weather, at high altitude and in strong winds. The company describes its vector coaxial multirotor and dual-all-wing VTOL designs as central areas of research and application, including work on take-off, landing and cruise performance in demanding wind conditions.
