CETC Wuhu Diamond Aircraft Manufacture Co., Ltd. (CETCD) develops, manufactures, sells and maintains general aircraft, special aircraft, UAVs and associated equipment. Jointly established by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and the Wuhu municipal government, the company combines aircraft development and manufacturing with composite-materials research, flight testing and aerial remote-sensing data operations. It also conducts technical cooperation with Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH.
Its CU42 is a two-ton-class, long-endurance UAV with an all-composite fuselage, retractable tricycle landing gear and fully autonomous control. The aircraft is described as capable of landing on a single engine.
