Beijing E2 is a Beijing-based developer of intelligent unmanned equipment, incubated through the transfer of research achievements from Beihang University. Its development work focuses on long-endurance, long-range, all-weather and versatile UAV solutions, with a hardware range that also includes aircraft engine components such as electronic fuel injection systems. The company works closely with Beihang University's Key Laboratory of Advanced Aircraft Design Technology. Its team includes senior engineers and technical specialists with more than 25 years of experience in UAV design, flight control development and propulsion systems.
The company's Egret-100 is a medium-sized fixed-wing UAV for prolonged observation across large areas, including deserts and Gobi terrain. Built with carbon-fiber composites, it has a maximum takeoff weight of 70 kg. A satellite communication system enables beyond-visual-range flight control, while real-time image transmission is supported within 100 km. Vehicle-assisted takeoff and rolling landing allow operation on flat roads, reducing dependence on airport runways. Its imaging configuration combines a 30x visible-light camera, infrared imaging components and a laser rangefinder, supported by onboard tracking, stabilization and video processing. The modular platform can be configured to customer requirements for extended monitoring missions.
