Company overview

Beijing CyberComm Information Technology Ltd is a Beijing-based company established in March 2011, specializing in communication and computer-system hardware and software development and system integration. It researches, produces and sells the Infofly® range of integrated communication data links for industrial unmanned systems. The range combines video transmission, data exchange and remote control, with an IP-based architecture that supports different UAV payloads and integration with information-system centers. Its hardware offering also includes automatic tracking antennas and ad-hoc networking products for industrial UAV operations.

Infofly broadband data links operate in the L or S band, with communication distances of up to 300 km under radio line-of-sight conditions. Airborne units offer LAN, HDMI and SDI interfaces in different combinations to suit payload requirements. The data links include four bidirectional data channels and two remote-control uplinks as standard, supporting multiple payload services within one communication system. Ground configurations include single-axis, light, medium and heavy automatic tracking antennas for different transmission-distance requirements. The ground unit is integrated into the tracking antenna, which uses a high-gain directional antenna to improve communication quality and interference resistance.

Infofly ad-hoc networking products and automatic tracking antennas are intended for industrial fixed-wing, multirotor and compound-wing UAVs, as well as unmanned helicopters. They support formations, coordinated aircraft operations and larger UAV networks, using link and routing optimization, OFDM, MIMO and automatic tracking technologies. Mesh and star network configurations allow dynamically adjustable topology, with networks of up to 128 nodes and data rates of up to 100 Mbps. Multiple frequency bands and bandwidth allocation options address communication requirements involving coverage, interference and changing network connections across these unmanned platforms.
